Lol, ok I found a box that two black headrests fit in so it's ready for ups ground, atleast this way you won't have to pay for ups box and packaging and only shipping....

Mot, I honestly don't think it will be worth it to you to get the seat shipped...first I don't have a box big enough for it and then ups ground will probably want something like $40+ to ship it where you can pick one up for less at a local junk yard ..

I picked up a set of black rear seats for $20 this past weekend, but it was a half off sale so normally it's about $40.... I gotta say there are lots more Tan seats out there than black...

The way to ship it would be to go to a bike shop and get the boxes they use to ship the un-built bikes in, they'll give em to ya fo free? The truth is that these seats probably aren't worth the shipping though, they sound old and i'm guessing are pretty worn out. My idea is this, Mot why don't you post a thread in general discussion and see if theres a brother that may be road tripping from sac to your part of town? I'm sure it happens all the time? If not here check a ride share board out. I'd look for better ones in la junque yard, the price will be less than the shipping. Just trying to get you some cushion so you can do some pushin!

I did paint Nigels new rear seat black from tan. That leather paint shit I found works magic...looks perfect!

I'm guessing that cardinal is worth more money than a black one? Don't spray that shit, sell it to someone who needs one and use the loot to buy yourself a nice black one? Spraying leather is going to bite you in the ass sooner than later and your destroying a somewhat rare seat.
