Want to Trade: My OEM M-tec II for a M-tec II replica

As most of you know, I have an OEM m-tec II rear spoiler on my E30. A picture is attached. The piece is beautiful, but very heavy. I previously had a replica. The quality of the replica left something to be desired, but it was much lighter.

While I typically despise fiberglass aero effects, I would like to trade my OEM spoiler for a fiberglass replica as long as the quality of the fiberglass replica is decent. Why? I want to save weight. I'm looking to put my e30 on a 200lb diet so I am now willing to sacrifice quality for weight savings.

So, trade me your M-tec II replica E30 rear spoiler and cash (So I can get it painted) for my OEM M-tec spoiler.

I'm not interested in any other trades or straight cash so don't even ask.

Please re-read the last sentence. Thanks.

if you're trying to save weight why not just get rid of it all together?

Mariano! I do hope to make Bfest this year. It'll be tough as it is in the middle of graduation, but I should pull it off.

Matt, since the e30 is no longer a daily driver, I am putting it on a serious diet. LTW racing seats, ac removal, fiberglass hood and trunk, a replica wing and maybe some other stuff. My goal is 2,600 pounds.

I'm looking for around $100. Maybe a little less. It will depend on the quality of the replica. I don't want to remove it all together as the M-tec II wing is the only way to go on an e30 IMHO.

I just hope the replica doesn't flap at high speeds.

You better fucking be there. 2600 lbs wont be a problem dude. Take out the AC, the spare tire, drill the bumper filler, washer fluid tank (how often do you use it?), etc. plus the stuff youre already planning I think youll be good. Unless of course you have audio equipment. ;) Its not necessarily what weight you have, but where its located.
