bump for jeff. I sold him the 3.91lsd, its very solid no leaks etc. It came out of my 318 before I went to a m20. It never made noise the brief period I used it. Its a nice choice for the 318iS guys or early 318i guys looking for a lsd.

True it wont like hard clutch drops and alot of abuse, but the meduim case diffs dont like it all that much either. This diff would hold up fine for normal/sporty use in a 325i, you just can't beat the living hell out of it like a big case.

i've ran that diff in my daily 325i for a few years now and still works fine. i honestly think its one of the best mods out there for a stock or nearly stock 6cyl e30. it doesnt raise your revs as much as a 4.10, but gives you the same acceleration that a 4.10 med. case would yield due to the reduced mass of the gearset. BTW, these are good to about 250ft.lbs of torque. if more people realized this, i think they would be worth much more. i have two customers with these on their cars also and show no sign of failure with lots of autox and some track days. just get some good fluid that specifies lsd compatability. you'll like, i promise.

thank you. Honestly unless you beat the shit out of your cars regularly, these diffs are a perfectly reliable upgrade and the gear ratio is perfect for alot of e30 applications.

seems that there is some adapter available that converts the ix bolt pattern (on the booster) to the same as a 320 booster?? ive never heard of it, but have seen it posted on here.
