    F.s S52

I will have a S52 w/ tranny and all components available shortly from my 96 E36 M3 that just got totalled in a rear end accident. The motor has 127K but was very well maintained with castrol/mobil 1 synthetic since new ( documented since 80K or so) tranny only saw redline oil. New coilpacks, welded oil pump nut. New waterpump, thermostat etc. I am in Branford, CT and will only accept pickup the engine runs fine and will be able to be started but not driven because of obvious reasons. Shoot me some offers but please no lowballs as this is a very nice strong engine.
    Thanks, Brian

I will also have a full part out if there is anything else anyone wants ahead of the rear quarters, Estoril exterior/Modena vaders

$2900. Engine and accessories, transmission with shift console, driveshaft, midpipe. No DME or wiring harness required. Worth a shot.

Sorry, I was acually looking more in the $4500 range, sorry guys I just wanted to gauge what people are paying. I have seen up to 5.5K. This is the whole shebang for a swap, just need mounts, oil pan, Brake booster and exhaust. Give or take.

youre not going to get 4500.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

              I call BS - I think he'll get pretty damn close to 4500, it's a complete setup.

G'damn Brian - what happened?!? Sad to hear it - your car was a BEAUTY!!! Hope you're OK... ?

you can get S52s with less than half those miles for that kind of money

No. You still need the OBD-I parts which will run another $450-500 (M50 manifold, crank position sensor, 2 knock sensors, vanos extension cable, wiring harness, DME).

If you want to gauge what people are paying and posted this thread mostly as a feeler, most S52s with accessories run between $2300 - 2700 depending on mileage. The transmission ranges from $350 - 600.

The combination of the engine and transmission would be around $3300 max. You can get that price from a salvage yard all day long. You might be able to hold out a few months to squeeze a few hundred more from a really motivated buyer.

Ha Ha, well guys offers of 3K are not going to cut it, I would rather drop it in my E30. Adrian yes it sucks, some idiot in a MB CLK320 wacked me at about 30mph, other that some neck, shoulder, lower back pain I am in one piece.
