FS: E30 trailer hitch!

Hey guys...incase anyone wants to emulate Matt.... ive got a trailer hitch that i took off my IX. Will post pictures later. But if anyone is interested....let me know. Im asking $100 but once again...price is negotioable.

I may be interested.. Of course, how flexable are you on price ?

And what type of hitch is it ? Reese type w/ receiver or permanent type (where the ball is always on the car )... You know, one of those shin scrapers..

edit, Oh, and mine is an 85 w/ the bumpers tucked... Would it fit ?

Depending on how yours mounts it may or may not be for late model cars only.

I know mine is early model specific.

thanks for posting matt...Im sending some people your way with questions cause i figured that you would be the one to ask. Mine fit on the diving board fine and with the bumper tucked it shouldnt be a problem.


It is not a reese hitch. It is on of those lovely shin scrapers but does not have a ball on it right now.

Hey Im away at college and the hitch is in my dads garage. I just talked to him and he said that he was going to take some pictures tonight or sometime today and send them my way. Ill see if i can figure out how to post pics and ill put them up. Or i can just send them directly to your email accounts if you'd like.

VSR also sells a custom hitch designed for the M3 but I'm sure they have an adaptation for a garden variety E30.

They is also the eu trailer hitch but us trailers tend to have differant style ball mounts.
