16" SPAL Puller Fan (Low Profile)

I bought this for my S52 e30, but there isn't enough clearance. The fan is new, never used. Fan also includes four brackets for mounting. All original SPAL parts.

    Part No. 30100400
Retail $89.95 ($79.95 for the fan + $10 for the brackets)
    Specs: http://www.spalusa.com/fans/automate.../0400-0401.pdf

    Looking to get $75.

    How were you mounting it?

In front or behind the radiator?

Behind the radiator. It's a puller.

      It doesn't fit, though.

jon.. you missed when he debuted the beast at scarantinos. clean car, a nice swap. you got other plans for it?

on topic: how much drag do you think the clutch fan creates? would it be worth it in a performance perspective of removing the rotating mass of the fan and clutch and replacing it with this?

Other plans: possibly selling it. I know it sucks, but I might need a commuter car and I can't risk this car overheating in bumper to bumper traffic going to and from LA during the summer.

If I can figure out how to keep the car cool and run the A/C, then I'll keep it. I plan on changing the rear differential out for a 3.15-3.25. Other than that, the rest is minor cosmetic stuff.

Clutch fan probably creates comparable drag to an e-fan once you account for additional load on the alternator and the difference in airflow.
