The diff is weird, I am not really sure what it is. It is NOT a limited slip though. :( and it has a cover from a 4cyl

well i found a 318is with a a broken timing chain... I dont really wanna mess with the engine casue idk what all went shitty on it... the chain broken during starting so its prolly not that f-ed but i think a good m42 replacement would be much easier... thoughts?

id be looking for a good one most likely or fixing the current one.

Thats what I was planning on offering him too... what are its issues? would it be a good track beater? thats all i want it for. Is it worth 400 bucks+ some cash to fix/buy and m42?

It is not a clear title like he said it was.
I found that the damage was to the roof, and it was VERY poorly repaired. I am EXTREMELY surprised that the sunroof works. There is about 1/8" of bondo (which is cracking) on the Passenger A and C pillars, and near the sunroof, and on the drivers door. (This was upsetting to me after I asked him if it was original paint, and he said yes).

Also, the photos that he posted were from long long ago. He apparently left the sunroof open all winter, and the entire interior is moldy.

basically it is a pile of $#1+. It doesnt even have a clean plastic bumper swap. Plus he lives in DEEP northeast Vancouver. I wish he had been honest with me and saved me the 2 hours it took me to check it out.

Funkmasta, I posted on your 16" wheels thread. I need the door cards and rear panels out of this car, as well as the black trunk lid or whatever you call the part that goes over the top when it is down. Please let me know if you still have this stuff and how much you want for it.
