the factory rubber expands under pressure? You guys do realize that you can press the clutch fork in with your hands using a screwdriver through the bell housing, right?

these are the same hoses that are used for brake lines, therefore the same rules apply. oem is no different, just expands more than stainless. Now when you have your stiff ass pressure plate in there, wouldn't you like all the work your leg is doing to push the pressure plate instead of stretching the hose?
There is still pressure when you step on the clutch, however little or much there really is.
