FS: $140 Panasonic CQ-C7413U w/ late model harness

New, refurbished by Panasonic. Bought it off eBay a few weeks ago, carefully wired up the harness, and now found out that I didn't get the right harness. Item has never been powered on. It is new, refurbed by Panasonic w/ a 90 day warranty.

    I bought this harness:

I'd like to get $140 shipped for it firm, which is what I'm in the hole for w/out (if you don't charge for my soldering time). Retails between $170-180. There is one small scratch on the unit, which was there when I bought it.

Not taking offers. $140 firm. If people don't want it at this price, I'm going to get the right harness and wire it up.

There is no such thing as a harness for an E30. Never was, never will be.

Trust me on this, I have been a pro since 1980. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or misinformed.

To run that unit (or any other modern headunit) you MUST run new wire to the speakers. It isn't that hard to do, should not take more than 2 hours or so, even for a newb.

Big secret? Find the plug that hides behind your left front speaker. 4 wires, 2 blue, 2 yellow. Those are the rear speakers. Run 3 sets of wire over there, and one to the right front speaker. All done!

BTW, The 7314 is my personal fav head unit these days.

Yah, I got suckered by eBay. I knew the thing looked too similar to my E36 HU. I put this out on Bimmerforums too, and am wondering if anyone will bite. Otherwise, I'll be running wires.

Should I put the crossovers inline? Or just let the stock caps handle that?

If you have aftermarket crossovers, bypass the stock ones up front.

You will be absolutely shocked at how good they sound, especially if you remove the tweeters from the mounts and take the cloth/paper crap off of the tweeters, then re-install.

Add a small sub/amp combo, turn the high pass filters on in the Panasonic and you will be rockin', cheap!

Is the proper harness included or is it the correct harness for the headunit?

Its the proper harness for E36's. 10 bucks less if you want me to chop it off.
