Do you still have a copy available? I pulled the trigger on a new HP laptop today - should be here in about a week or so. Regrettably, its got Vista Basic on it (no XP alternatives offered) and based on what I've been learning recently, XP is the way to go for the time being until Vista is fully sorted.

If you figure out how to downgrade a comp that comes with vista already let me know. I tried to do it and Vista wouldn't let me do it. Thanks

I paid, it arrived around 4-5 days later. I had a install place install all my upgrades and put this in. Runs like a champ and updates! No problems!

All you have to do is boot from the XP CD, reformat the hard drive and install new.
