Someone get this out of my barn. This motor is pretty much done, 30 and 40 percent leakage through the rings in 2 cylinders, around 400,000 miles. Still ran when removed, but there is ring ridge in number 1 cylinder and piston pin noise from that particular cylinder. I really wanted to tear it down and see the condition of the bearings and such, but I dont have time and it needs to go. Use it for parts (part it out and make money). Rebuild it and make a stroker m20. Comes with pan, oil pump, mounting arms, basically just has the head removed and the timing belt covers removed.

eh, i probably wont pull anything off of it. Yes its the eta from my car. It was still running just fine, making noise when cold, and obviously the leakdown numbers. although the compression was within 10-5 psi of each other (~160psi). it was mainly a preventative thing putting the m50 in, plus i like it much better after driving an m50 e30.Old and improved:

What's the longest know running E out there. Seems most E's fail victim of owners grow tired of driving them before they die or odo's dies so true mileale unknown.
Send it to Donovan over on Tech he loves eta's to turbo and blow them up.Comment
