Wilwood Superlites - feeler

I have a set of Wilwood Superlites caliper and pads I am thinking of selling. They are used but only for a couple of months. I purchased them from Massive Brakes along with the complete E30 kit.

The problem is that the calipers are too wide to fit behind my rims without a spacer. When I mount them with a spacer, I cannot mount my rims properly as it no longer hub centric. Without being hub centric, my car steering wobbles at high speeds above 80 KM/hr. So I am downgrading to Wilwood NDL's which will fit my car with the rims and without spacers and I will be hubcentric again.

They are black, with pads, brand new but they do have scratches where they rubbed the rims.

I am only changing the calipers and pads, I am not selling the hats, rotors or mounting kit.

Anyone interested?

sounds like you just need to convert to wheel studs, and buy some spacers and some hub centric rings.... No big deal.

That is why this is a feeler! But right now I can't find a hubcentric ring that will fit in my wheel.
There is 7mm of hub exposed after the spacer installed as in the pic. Unfortunately my wheels also have a bevel on the back which is also 7mm deep. Therefore the rims just barely miss the hubs. So without the 3mm spacer the rims would seat on the hubs.

So I really have two options, if I go with replacing the Superlites with the NDL's I will have the hub seating I need to eliminate the wobble. Alternately I can also try to get custom rings machined so that it fits within my wheel bevel and seat on the hub. But because of the bevel, I don't know if it will seat the rims on the hub properly.

Or is there hubcentric ring out there that will solve this?

sorry to hear that it can't fit.. Lee had the cut-outs that i used to my Borbets A rims and it cleared about 1mm.. using the NDL calipers too..
it does a good job of stopping..

3. Make a pair of hub extenders.

These are for E36's but pretty simple to make.

active autowerks also sells hub extneders for 70. they are ment for the e36/46 but i bet they would work for the e30's. worth a call.

My car acts the same way, as I'm running 10mm spacers, which aren't made hubcentric. It's pretty awesome.

So my braking sucks and I vibrate anyways, if I were to pick these up from you, what else would I need to install these? Also, how big are the rotors?
