AC Schnitzer buckets = (Recaro srd)

Pair, bare buckets, one has a tiny hole diameter of pencil eraser. Picture of one, another will be posted soon. They recline for use in coupe, but not adjustable.

I have 1 base that is made for e30, but holes won't line up with holes in the seat. 1 aluminum plate with 4 holes + 4 bolts and you're set with one seat. Another one could be purchased from wedge engineering.

$500 for 2 seats and above mentioned bracket. Shipping from 01945.

Are these GENUINE Recaro seats or Ebay seats w/ "AC Schnitzer" logos?

Pics of the Recaro logos, please.

Sorry, but my post wasn't meant as a "post dump". Low Level E30 was asking if they were authentic Recaro or an ebay copy and since I used to own a pair of the ebay seats, I posted my thoughts. They look exactly like the ebay seats I used to have. Clearly they are different than the Recaro you posted above...

Look at the bolstering in both pics, the Recaro doesn't have a stitch in the middle, yours does

I really hope you aren't trying to market these as authentic Recaro SRD's...

I really wasn't trying to crap on your thread, but if you insist...

If you look at the top of the center backrest cushion, you will see that they are different shapes. (The Recaro seat is more squared off, and the "ACS" seat is more tapered/rounted.)
The bottom bolsters are much larger on the Recaro seats.
The reclining mechanism is different between the seats. (The Recaro has the adjusting knob, whereas the other one only has a single lever aduster.)
The bottom cushion is shaped differently. The "ACS" one is flat all the way down, whereas the Recaro cushion is thicker near the end.
That shiny fabric used on your seat was never used on any Recaro seat.
The stitching and seams are different.

And here is the biggest giveaway...
The "ACS" seat you have does not even have the Recaro bolt pattern, meaning it will not bolt onto a Recaro seat bracket... You need to build a custom adapter.

Again, sorry for crapping on your thread, but you asked...

Nahhhh, he's trying to market them as "Evo" seats. But since SRD's aren't Evo seats either, I suppose these are just as good.

Before anyone jumps me, the real Recaros used were SR's, NLA.

TO the OP, just come clean - they're clearly not Recaros, but for $500 for the pair if you toss in shipping someone might want them. It's not a crime they aren't a brand name, but it's weak sauce trying to pass them off as such.

                          Good luck with your sale.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Thanks, In that case they are not for sale any longer. I'll just put them in my car and en joy the weight savings, even if they are not ACS. I was told they are and I have no way of actually verifying the information. To me they looked like seats in the Evo I saw. I am not trying to pass them for anything, I am telling you what I see in front of me.
