Another tech had a X3 come in the shop with some very strange throttle faults and weird driveability issues, and after swapping a few different parts, found one of these stupid things in the intake boot. That customer was lucky enough to get to pay for a few hours of our time at $125/hour.

LOL. a friend of mine bought one for his honda civic when i was in high school, installed it, and about a month later his car broke down and wouldnt run for shit. he had it towed to a shop to diagnose the problem, turned out the damn tornado thing had been sucked into his TB and was blocking it from closing...i laughed my fuckin ass off.
