Small diameter early 318 or late regular diameter 318 fitment ?

Any closer pics of the markings/stampings or anything ?

Appear to be regular Bilstein inserts .....but I guess Alpina probably used revalved Bilsteins ?

they are re valved bilstiens, I bought them from K$K in California , I'm pretty sure its for late models if you want pics and stampings I can post them up! I thought all strut housing were the same in e30's except m3 but i'm probably wrong

My memory isn't what it used to be, but I think early 318 and eta's (84-5?) had smaller diameter strut housings. Not that it would be difficult to source the bigger ones.

Don't take this as the truth, just what I remember.

Easy enough . That would be a late E30 by any standards .
