FS (Maybe): Full 300rwhp+ proven Turbo setup

I'm gauging interest in selling my turbo setup. Pretty much you would be buying an upgraded TCD Stage II setup (call it Stage III).
    What would be included?

-TCD Manifold w/ almost new Ball-bearing 50 trim T4 Turbo (less then 500 miles on it)
-All the plumbing needed (intake, boost pipes, downpipe, oil lines, etc)
-Megasquirt that is already dyno and street tuned at over 300rwhp with harness.
-AEM Tru-Boost controller with AN4 braided signal lines
    -Raceware Head Studs
    -42# injectors (with 2 spares)
-Throttle body modded for TPS (the TPS sensor is cracked, it works but could be replaced as long as your installing everything)
-Coolent housing that is already modded as well ready to go.
-Stock 1-2 qt water resevior plus a 5 gallon fuel cell, lines, and water pump for the water-to-air intercooler.
    -the water-to-air intercooler itself
    -

    What will you need?
M20 engine in good condition and headgasket of your choice (I can include the thick MLS I would be removing for reuse if you wish gives ~8.0 compression)
Fuel pump that will handle the extra flow
    Good tranny and engine mounts
Clutch that can hold the power (I might be able to provide you one depending)

On a 2.5L engine this made a little over 300rwhp on the old turbo (stock TCD Stage II setup). It probably made 20-30hp more on the BB at same boost level but never got dyno to prove that. More importantly was how it improved transiant response, very little delay on what was already a very good system before.

The price? $4500 shipped with support to whomever purchases to help them get it all working.

Anybody interested in this turnkey setup? Give yourself a couple days and you can go from stock power to a pretty damn beastly street car.

Oh any many might as why are you thinking of selling? Well its been a lot of fun, and a lot of R&D, but I have a couple other ideas I want to work on, and the turbo doesn't really fit into them. If nobody really wants it I'll probably just keep it and run it again next year.

What kind of lag did you have with this setup? I've been planning on going with a supercharger because my car will be mostly street driven but this is an interesting thought.

Lag, very little on a 3.25LSD. For street I'd call it pretty much lag free. Postive pressure below 2K, full boost 3200rpm (~14psi). For Autocross there is some lag, but with the ball-bearing its better and very predictible. Pretty much once its spooled up and you have to let off for a second or two if you get WOT again its back at full boost less then 1/4 second most of the time as long as your in proper rev range (e.g. above 3500rpm).

Its on my race car, so never really was daily driven, but if I was in a car with softer suspension would make very nice car. With the 3.25LSD you can get cruise efficency of nearly 30mpg on freeway.

I ran the MLS gasket because of the autocross stresses I put the car thru, figured it offered more protection. But Todd (TCD) has told me the stock gasket should hold just fine at 14psi on normal duty and provide a bit quicker N/A response as it would be 8.8 vs. 8 compression.

just curious, on your webpage it says 14.4 in the 1/4 mile with street tires at 107?
that cant be right? that would be 13.4-13.55 at the least.
interested in your package deal, would you have a pic of the the turbo kit on your car?
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Yeah you read it correctly, the car has 500/600# springs, and Koni DAs, its not setup for drags. Add 205 street rubber and it doesn't exactly stick, it just spun thru the 1/8th. Todd ran the engine to a 12.7 @ 110 on slicks when it was on a RRFPR. I probably would have ran around a 12.5 or so on slicks.

Here is a picture of engine bay:

Not that impressive. I'm also kinda concidering selling the whole car if someone was interested, its not pretty but very well setup for track/autocross if that is something your interested in, I can assure you the price would be far less then what it cost to build.

For some reason r3v is not emailing me topic notifications even tho I have it set on so sorry for any delays in response.

Dyno for those interested (this was on the journal bearing turbo, and no MSD. It definately gained some on the BB and MSD box, but nothing major curve of power is similiar, just the rise in power starts 500rpm earlier)

i've ridden in this car before, it's no joke. very nice upgrade.
also i think it's worth mentioning that the turbo sits below the exhaust manifold instead of above it. this keeps it from looking cluttered and doesn't block the spark plugs like my mess of an install does.

You have also gotten to drive it, so you can compare to your setup.

Somewhere close to 10K for the whole car, wheels, and any spares I have laying around.
