Hmmm I'm not sure. Is the pickup mounted on the oilpan or the pump? The pickup is included if it is mounted on the oilpan. If it is installed on the pump, it will not be included.

Its mounted to the pump. Most of these oil pan kits that are sold include it.

its like 20 bucks for a new one, and its better to go that route anyways as it has a filter dealie inside.

wouldn't the filter eventually get clogged and you'd have to change it, and taking out the pan is a bitch.
