E30 factory trunk storage tray

Not sure what this thing is called- it's the OEM storage tray that fits on top of the battery cover in the trunk on the passenger side.

A rare piece for sure. This one is in great shape, no cracks or other damage. It does have 1 small screw hole in the bottom where someone attached it to the battery cover with a sheet metal screw. It could use a good cleaning- looks like some mud/rust dirt in the storage compartment area- but it comes off with some soap and water.


Asking $100 obo.

If you think this is too much- make me an offer.... ;)

You guys crack me up, if it's priced too high- then man up and make me an offer or STFU. I have no problem selling on Ebay where it will bring a fair price. I just thought someone here might be able to appreciate this for what it is.

You pay for rarity. Look at Cloth/Houndstooth interiors. EVERY american car ever made has the same damn cloth but for some reason we will pay "10X" too much for that.
Why does it bother you so much that its too expensive?......Are you planning on buying it?

Thats what the wife wanted.

We finally settled for $75 shipped IIRC.

Edit.. actually Paypal records indicate it was $65 shipped, for the tray, pristine medkit and triangle... and that was by far the best offer.

Prices on this stuff went down drastically. That thread alone is over a year and a half old. I recall 4-5 years ago these trays would fetch upwards of $80-100 on the forums or eBay... just not the case anymore.
