    Rear Shock Tower Brace

Rear Shock Tower Brace will fit all E30's (Except Convertibles).

    Item details:
    • Made of 304 grade stainless steel with a brushed finish. No need to paint
    • Quality made in the USA. Laser cut and TIG welded (Heliarc)
    • 2 lbs. 2.5 oz.

The benefits of this simple yet classic Shock Tower Brace design is that while adding to the stiffness of the chassis by reducing flex under harder cornering conditions, this brace also reinforces the chassis. The flanges help maintain the structural integrity of the upper shock mounts that are prone to cracking under stress.

    $80 Shipped*

    * Shipping via USPS Priority in Lower 48 States... addition shipping charges may apply otherwise.

I have several of these available.

I'll have them for as long as they last. I started 8. List them yesterday and have sold 3 so far. However if there is a high interest, I will get more made.

The bar comes with everything you need. No hardware is required.

Does this REALLY help our cars?

I'd like to see a pic of it mounted as well :)

No. The rear shock towers dont have the same lateral loads as the front shock towers. The rears have only vertical forces acting on them. Now, how will this bar, mounted with just the two shock bolts, be able to counteract the vertical forces from the shocks? Obviously, it won't. Snake oil.

While there are lots of different opinions on these braces... your opinion is just one opinion. Not sure what your qualifications are?

I have one in my race car and while the change is not the most drastic... I like the added rigidity.

                        Thanks

I too would like the added rigidity, but is it actually NOTICEABLE?
