I need a spacer that goes between the top underside of the strut tower and my ground control camber plates so the 4 bolts that allow for camber adjustment are no longer limited in travel by the strut tower.

i'd be interested in that too..

I would rather not cut into the factory sheet metal on my M5. on my $1000 E30, sure why not.

currently with ground control coil overs the camber adjustment has 4 bolts that are used to mount the camber plate to the main bearing. these bolts are about even with the top of the strut tower hole. a spacer slightly taller than the height of the allen bolt head would allow you to adjust camber to the desired degree, tighten the 4 bolts up, then slide the caster back to the desired spot.

so basically your looking to raise the mounting point of the plates so that you have more room to angle the shocks? I did not mean cut into the sheet metal of the shock tower, i mean you could purchase some sheet metal, say about 5 inches by 5 inches, and drill some holes in it and you've basically got what i could machine you unless you want some fancy design on it, and to make it look nice... or i'm completely off in my guess as to what your looking for... I think if you snapped a picture and posted it up and did a little sketch on it of what you want would be a good way to let me know what your looking for.

could also be that i've had 5 hours of sleep in 4 days...

pretty much i just need a spacer between the camber plate and the strut tower, but i don't want some hack job on the M5, i'm trying to keep the car looking somewhat presentable!

I was thinking of just getting a few old shock towers and stripping them down since they already have enough room in the center for adjustment and the holes are lined up, but again i want the car to look well done
