    Tire fitment question on 16"

    I just picked up some oz hydras on tire rack. they are 38mm offset. can i fit 215-45-16's? if not what is a good setup? oh and i'm lowered about 1.75"

    You may need spacers, 38mm is a bit much for the E30. Somewhere between 15mm and 25mm is usually about right. How wide are they?

      et38 will fit, I had et40 on mine and that probably is the max you can go with no spacers if you don't want to rub the strut mount.
      You should be able to fit 25mm spacers in the back (if your wheel is a 7.5"), I wouldn't go thicker than 20mm in the front.
      For tire size, I would go 215/40/16 and you should clear pretty good.

      My car has a 1.6" drop and the tires don't rub at all.

        I just threw some 225/45-16s on some 16x8 et23 wheels (im on e30 m3 susp) and I have a substantial drop. Fit perfect.
