FS: Custom 2.5" catback exhaust

[MR 325]

Up for sale is a bolt on custom 2.5 inch catback exhaust system. The will bolt up to all M20B25 cars with no modification and you can have an exhaust shop fit it to your Eta or 318. I am unsure of the brand of the muffler, I could not find any markings.



Asking $85 obo. Item is available for pickup in La Crescenta, CA.

I believe you... But i will stick with remus or simular they have a more mellow tone than a straight trough muffler like that...The loudest i would go with would be borla or something like that... I have an 1997s-52 and m3 mid pipe hacked up to a stock rear muffler and actually sounds really nice.. But i need to "open it up "a little if you know what i mean...I just don't want it to be too obvious that it's not stock... so the mustangs and camaros don't figure it out before i get a chance to spank'em....

I listed a part for sale, I never mentioned that it was on my personal car. That really doesn't matter though. If you're one of those people that thinks BMW's are God's gift to the world, I'm sorry you're so ignorant.

By the way everyone, I have heard this exhaust on a running car and it sounds awesome.

Does it sound raspy? or just a low rumble type sound? When I picture that muffler, I think of the Hondas i've owned.

Not raspy, sounds really good. The sound really doesn't compare to a Honda since this is a 6 cylinder vs a 4.

I know this will sound good. The "fart can" design actually sounds GREAT on the m20b25. Have done two different e30 track cars when I worked at race shops and they sound GREAT...

I actually have one sitting on my tool box that I need to put on. But I want to keep the cats otherwise I would ask you to slice it in 1/2 and ship it to me!

would it be safe to say BMW's are man's gift to god? I had a DTM fart can on my MK4 gti. It sounded awesome and i got flagged down a half dozen times by people wanting to know what exhaust i had.
