I recently replaced the transmission and differential in my 1991 318is with low mileage ones. I now have a good transmission and differential that I will let go for no charge other than shipping from Austin, TX. They both have 200,000 miles on them. The transmission has a little whine in 2nd. gear but all synchros are OK.The differentiaol has some play but is not noisy. It is a 4.10 ratio not LSD. The transmission cost a little over $100 to ship from Florida to Texas. It will have to go to a business address. The differential is just under 75 lbs. and will go door to door UPS for less than $50. Of course pickup is free. I am in far south Austin.
