FS: ETA head, good and clean.

200 head casting. Was taken from a m20b20, but is the same as a ETA head (actually has stronger bearing journals) Casting is clean, valves look good, springs/retainers/etc don't look great. Consider them free... or I can remove them if you like. $80

Good luck with selling that Jordan, I finally just sold the one I had sitting around for $40.

Yours is cleaner, but still, no one wants them. :(

$80 shipped or plus shipping? Est mileage?

I think my valve guides are worn out after 210k.

I guess I can do the "i" valvetrain swap on this one.

Exact millage is unknown, but in the area of 124k. Do you want as is, or with the springs and what not removed?

PM me your info and I can figure out a shipping quote and we can negotiate from there.

The core head for my stroker build had 220k miles and the valve guides were fine. I also have a 200kish eta head sitting around. Not worth a whole lot sadly.

Wow, only $40? Aren't they worth at least a little more than that in terms of scrap metal value?

Probably, but I'd rather see a perfectly good head go to another E30 owner than end up in a scrap pile.

How about someone buys my head before I find out how much its worth as scrap.

Don't see much wrong with that. It is an interesting situation though to see how some E30 parts are destined for value and other are not. Kudos to you.

I forwarded your ad to someone on "the other" website. He has a request listed in the wanted section over there for a good Eta head.

OT - But, what do you guys say m50 heads are worth? I have two with cracks between the valves laying in my garage. Thinking of scavenger mode for intake/exhaust studs, but the rest....

call your local scrap yard and ask them what they pay for clean aluminum per lb.

then weigh your head and do some simple math.
