    Feeler: M20 runs good.

I may be pulling a good running m20 from my '87is for a m50 swap and wanted to see what kind of demand it might be for it. It all depends on how the new car works out. Not sure of the miles on the engine but the car was well taken care of and runs strong. I know most want to do the m50 swap so I am not sure if there is much need for one. It is located in west TN near Memphis.

What kind of money are you looking for and are you willing to ship?

Yes I can ship. I was thinking around &800. The engine runs good but its hooked to an autotragic that doesnt shift right. I sell one of my cars and all my extra parts in the garage I will be pulling all the parts off this 87is. I have to clean out the garage before I start another project car.

          ...

I think you'll find m20 engine go for about 200 to 300. Ranging around 100k to 130k. With good compression. I dont know how much shipping is, but 800 for a m20 motor, is kind of incredibly high number,

consider I just got a whole head completely rebuild with all new rocker, new stock cam, new seals for everything, 3 angle valve job, pressure tested, hot tanked, rip apart and installed for 500 bucks. a regular m20 bottom end can probably be had for about 300 completely rebuilt.

I just went ot a local shop, I'm not a mechanic, or am I in the industry of moding cars. So this is just a regular reputable shop price.
