My buddy just drove by the address we found, and this is indeed the correct address, and Chris' car was sitting in the driveway still with the 45day tag on it. He is probably inside right now following this thread. He lives in a duplex, and his unit is on the rightside. My buddy even said there was a little girls playhouse sitting in the driveway. Personally I'm not out any money, but let me make an observation.

Chris, I doubt that most people care that you got in deeper than you thought on this Lamin-X buy and couldn't ship them out in a timely fashion. We have all put unreasonable time lines on ourselves before and ended up eating crow because of it.

The main issue here is that you've acted like a little kid instead of a grown man. Had you copped to it, thrown yourself on the mercy of the masses and pledged to mail the stuff out ASAP you'd probably still have most people's respect. The problem is, you decided to try to lie your way out of it (even claiming you lost your kid?!?) which is causing people to come out of the woodwork wanting your head on a plate.

It's not the money, it's the principle. Even the few guys who have admitted they know you are smart enough not to back you now because you just continue to dig a deeper and deeper hole. If I was you I would come clean, give a realistic timeline, and then follow through in spades. If this means you losing money in the process because you bit off more than you can chew, so be it. At least you'll still have your character and you'll know you've done the right thing. Either way I'd say your rep on any E30 board is done.
