i just spent like an half an hour reading the whole thing, and must i say - i will remove my hat for the tolerance you've all been showing here towards this guy.
there's this several guys that was ripped off by this chris guy, and he and his friends are sitting here, doing nothing, giving u excuses like we're communicating via letters and not the internet.
around here (Israel) such a behavior was long gone for someone would go to the police and get this over with (one option) or someone would go over to this guy's house and close this with him face to face (an option he'd less like around here)
this guy and his friend are moking you around and everyone is so tolerant.
if its not about the money - so why dont u file a complaint to the police and get thisover?
lost a kid? lost a granfather? why should anyone give a damn about that? it never stopped him from taking your money, so why would it stop him from giving it back?

"his wife is at work, his waife cleaned the car, he has lovely children" - again, why should anyone give a F about this?

if he was acting like a man he'd come over all the forums where he ripped so may ppl and say "i apologize, i will refund all the money" but he had done nothing like that.

again, to all of u fellows E30 lovers - my humble gesture for your tolerance (i hold myslef from saying naive)

if it was my money on the line, i'd go a whole different path.
