I wasn't going to post in this thread, didn't want to litter it, but with the count to almost 400, guess its OK

I didn't buy anything from him, but have been following this thread from the start as I had interest in what he was selling, than wow it got interesting!

Except for the BS fighting half way through, to me as a bystander this thread has great value.

It PROVES that if you try to fuck someone on here, even on 'cheaper' parts, that there will be repercussions, and real ones.

So to me, as a guy who likes to buy parts from fellow enthusiasts, it makes R3V that much of a safer place to do that.

please everyone keep this thread professional and clean. This thread can and most likely be used as evidence in the investigation of the fraud charges against Chris.

Try from here on out, only post if you have updates or new members posting their dispute against Chris.

This will allow new people to follow the information easier, and not have to read though "what one would do if" comments. Any updates in regards to talking to the police is encouraged as well as where abouts from members either knowing or living around his area.

Everyone needs to call there local police first !!!!!!! You need to have a police report #. For Paypal call the # listed on the page for customer care, it takes about 20 min to get thru, then state why you are calling, they will say the computer will not let them hence the 45 day rule, THEN ask for a supervisor. The guy I talked with is Jeffery #7701, but any supervisor will work. When you log onto your account it will state DISPUTE CLOSED. But it is being investigated on there end.SO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO OPEN A DISPUTE CAN. You also need to find out what laws he might have broken in your local area. Good Luck to all

Everyone needs to call there state postal inspector and file a complaint. It can be done online in most states. Here in Cali it is a civil mater, but Federally a mail fraud !!!! This is a bigger crime and carries longer sentences in a Federal Prison.!!! I will update as the progress Oh, anyone local can start a small claims case against Chris and Amy Sarant ! and see what there local sheriffs in Richland County will do ???

I have had a few pm's from members, Looks like the wheels I purchased were never for sale in the first place. They are on a car in for repair at a place he was listing stuff for. All rims for sale on mye28.com by him belong to a shop that has the car in for repair ??????

I think that is the case. I remember reading somewhere that the shop chimed in on the matter. I cant remember if its in this thread or some other. I want to say he was selling wheels for the shop and trying to be the middle man.

I understand your frustration but keep this thread professional. There are many pages to this thread and the police and or who ever else is going to read it is not going to want to see a bunch of "smiles" and ranting. They are going to be looking for facts and contact info. Keep it simple for them!

I have asked the mods over on Carolinaeuros.com to keep an eye out for him and report if logged in. They said they would. He will have to surface if not under his screen name a new identity. Many are upset and there are tons of people that have been following this thread. Its a matter of time! Just keep on Paypal to reverse the charge before its to late and he closes his account. But running under his wifes name only makes me believe that he has had problems in the past with Paypal.

This was earlier in this thread on R3v ... here is the guy who Chris was suppose to be selling some things for :

I am Jeff, the service manager of The Gourmet Garage. Chris has not worked here since around July. Dont call here to get any info on him since it appeares you have found everything anyway. Although, we did have him try to sell some extra or old parts we had lying around- 745i turbo setup, borbet wheels, 325ix with bad motor and some other misc. parts. If you had contact with him on this stuff and are still intrested you can call and ask for Jeff. I am sorry for anybody that has been taken advantage of or lost money at this point. If anyone has given him money on any 745i or 325ix parts let me know as soon as possible. The stories you have been getting on delivery are the same ones we had on possible sales of our stuff. We stay extremely busy and dont really have the time to stay online trying to sell items and since he was unemployed he offered to post them for us. We have yet to sell anything through him. I believe his Alligator Mouth has got his Humminbird Ass in trouble. I do know that he had several sets to sell but when the orders exceed what he had is when the trouble started
