They really do make a difference for the price. But the ones from turner or jimC or markD make a huge differnce over the "kopi" chips on ebay. I run one in my 318is as its my daily driver and adds just enough to make make happy about my 50 bucks spent. By the way i have a 173 ecu with a jimC chip if anyone wants it
