    FS: My Alpina Valve Cover

Its gotten to a point where I have to get rid of this if I want to have any money to fix the car in time for next auto-x season. This is a sad day for me...
Most of you that have been a member on this site for a while will know this item...

    Thanks for looking
If you want to contact me its better to do it via the ebay auction

Can we get any kind of authenticity proof (papers, part numbers, alpina marks, etc)?

        Thanks

It's not a real Alpina valve cover, they didn't make them.

Now that I look at it, the A looks weird. Fooled me. I still want it though. hehe

Yeah, for sure. I'm not trashing it or anything, I just don't want people thinking they're getting some uber-rare Alpina part.

But really I wonder what the letters are made off? And he must have had it machined to erase the BMW lettering? If so then that must have cost him at least what he is starting it at. I was quoted and average of $180 at several machine shops to get rid of all the stripes and BMW letters so I could polish the valve cover to a smooth finish. And believe me I tried disc grinding it and it's not as easy as it looks.
