i wanted to gauge interest on these parts before i purchase the car that they are in. if there is enough interest ill purchase it and pass it on to you all. I will NOT send misc. little pieces out i.e. clips, small trim pieces whatever. so do not ask please. my plan is to sell it in 5 pieces.
1. the drive train. motor, trans, drive shaft, differential, ecu, harness, brake booster, radiator, mounts, anything related to the swap.
2. the interior. seats (front and rear), door panels, carpet, dash, gauge cluster, obc, heater panel etc.
3. the shell. full body, suspension, glass. basically all the metal.
4.suspension. control arms, springs, shocks, brakes etc.
5.BMP kit. front and rear bumpers.
the car is a 87 325i. it has a m50 vanos swap with est 85k on it. the swap was done locally by the salem crew. the car has ST springs and i believe Tokico shocks. it is white in color, straight panels and has the BMP kit on it (minus side skirts). it has some gnarly looking 16"s on it.
a lot of the finer details as far as manufacturers are unclear right now. i'm viewing the car later this week. the current owner says "it needs lots of work" but he has no clue what, and is not really a car guy. so im basically going to purchase this car to help him out, using my M3 money to front the deal. im bailing this guy out of a jam that he got himself into and this is the only collateral he has.
Pricing:
Drive train: $1800. i will include EVERYTHING you would need to swap a stock e30 to a 24valve.
Interior: $400 which include everything listed above.
Shell: $500 with all metal, glass. there is a POSSIBILITY that has a reconstructed title. also if you want the suspension etc to keep it a roller. ill make a deal to keep it all together.
Roller shell $700
Suspension: $300
Kit: $300
none of this is including shipping. shipping will be available on everything EXCEPT the shell. as i said before, i want to see if there is any interest on these parts and pricing! im going to view the car on wednesday and i will update the information then also. there is a chance that i will sell this car complete also. if there is interest in this please PM me and we can discuss a price. let er rip!
