    Driveshaft and Guibo FS

Quick listing for these two items:

Large diameter guibo, Brand spankin' new OEM BMW part w/tag 26-11-7-511-454 (I ordered the wrong one) $50

Manual transmission driveshaft, (for smaller guibo style), has decent joints. $100.

    Paypal preferred.

    Bump

The driveshaft has no play in the joints and minimal notchiness. I paid $125 for it on eBay- I don't know its mileage. It's in better condition than the one on my car which doesn't vibrate either. I have a brand new in the bag center support bearing I will include for another $25.

And to those who asked, the Guibo came straight from BMW, I ordered the wrong one- its not a febi guibo.

So this Guibo won't fit between an 87is manual trans and its stock driveshaft?

        No .
It does not fit stock "i" driveshafts .

You'd need the right Eta trans output flange and driveshaft for it work in an "i" car .

:( Thanks for the info. Im completely stupid when it comes to the E30 stuff.

Is there any difference between the 91 5 speed stuff and the 87 stuff? Im putting 87is 5sp stuff in my 91 325i auto.

          TIA

You'll need a center support bearing for the 91 installed onto the 87 driveshaft .
The early CSB's are bigger in diameter and won't even mount into the location on a late model car .

New CSB bought for the car and not the driveshaft and you are set .
