    FS: E36 5spd Transmissions - Getrag & ZF

I have a stockpile of E36 transmissions that have to go. All prices include shipping and I accept only Paypal or US Postal Money Orders. Please PM me for my payment information if you are interested.

    E36 Getrag 250 5SPD w/ Shift Linkage (not pictured) Price = SOLD
    Pulled from a 94 318is w/ 140k

    E36 Getrag 250 5SPD w/o Shift Linkage Price = $225 Shipped OBO
    Pulled from a 98 323i w/ 95k

    E36 ZF 5SPD w/o Shift Linkage Price = $475 Shipped OBO
    Pulled from a 98 328is w/ 90k

When I pulled this transmission one of the tabs that held the shift linkage to the transmission was accidentally damaged so I paid a reputable shop to cut off and repair the damaged area. The pictures below show the peice that I had repaired. The new piece is actually stronger than the original cast. I originally bought this for my M50 swap but have decided to build a 2.8L M20 instead. I have a receipt from the shop that repaired the tab that I will include for proper documentation. The selector shaft seal was also replaced after the repair was made.

I hate that bitch clip in the last picture.
Picture me on the side of the interstate, trying to put one on blindly in the dark on a motor swapped car.. Grr..

How are you shipping these? What packaging and how are you packaging is my questino actually. Btw, your for sale ads are the best. So neat and easy to read FTW

Everything is shipping in plastic Rubbermaid containers packed full of crumpled newspaper and bubblewrap. Works great for stuff like transmissions and cylinder heads.

You can ask around on BF.c

They will fit but the shift linkage will be angled 10 degrees off center. Honestly though, the Getrag 260 that comes with your E30 is a much better gear box than a Getrag 250 out of an E36.

UPDATE: 1 Getrag 250 is Sold

Hey Robert, I still have no word. Feel free to do what you need to do, I may just stick w/ my 240 until I get ready for FI.
