I have a 91 318is, dark grey exterior and creme interior. A few days ago while normal driving I pushed in the clutch and the motor stalled with no warning and seized. The only thing I know is that its locked and the oil pick up had a lot of metal fragments when i dropped the pan. I looked through the oil cap and the timing chains were still tight. I had done a compression check last week and it had 180+ in each cylinder. I would believe the head is good but I am not sure. I am not sure if I want to sell it whole or fix it, I have a 83 323i tc baur that I want to put my attention into so I might let the 318 go. I am looking to get around $800 for the car but am open to talk about it. It has steel bumpers on the front but I have the plastic bumpers to go along with the car + few other parts.
