What's it take to put that rack in a '91 325i E30?

theres a whole writeup in the DIY section. you have to modify the knuckle. was very simple with the motor out. i swapped mine with the same exact one

In a 91 325i (airbag car), you don't have to modify the knuckle. You just have to grind the firewall a bit to get the steering spindle a little more clearance.
