Saw you on the list for this weekend's autocross. Is there something new under the hood of the Bronzit Cabrio? Will it still be a clean car contest entry?

I might not be able to autocross on Saturday. I'm trying to figure out if I can at least get a few runs in the morning or if I need to blow off the whole thing.

Last year I installed an S50 into the Bronzit cabrio. It came out real clean. It runs well. I need to change the diff. I'm running the Getrag260 with the 4:10LSD I was using with the M20. Needless to say, the S50 doesn't care for that ratio. I have a 3:73LSD in my garage that I need to install.

I only entered the clean car contest once. The car could use a detail right now. It's still in good condition just a little dirty.

As a minimum, I will try to stop by the event for a few minutes.

I have too much going on and had to bail out of the autocross as well. I'll still show up at 615AM to help set up, but I wont be driving. If you let Dan know today or tomorrow, he'll issue a refund to your MotorsportReg account that you can apply to the next event (i.e. store credit).

My S50 E30 has the E36 M3 gearbox (damned if I can remember the name of it at the moment). I'm at 3.46, going to go down to 3.25 or 3.23. Even 3.46 is just pure insanity.
