Me too. I was just bitching about my mirrors earlier today. I hate e30 mirrors.

What are they made out of? Could they just be left unfinished on a black car?

there seems to be a huge gap between the mirrors and the "adapter plates" will this go away when you tighten the mirrors to the car?

I'm worried about this as well.

Besides that, Ive been looking for a good set of kopi mirrors for years. Widebody, can you post pics of them mounted up?

I wanted those mirrors first but they are a bad replica of the real dtm mirrors that look like this

The real ones look like rat ears. I'm in favor of the "bad replica" units that appear to be larger which would be more functional and not look anorexic.

The gap is only 1/8"-3/16" of an inch at the most.
