I'm sorry for the multiple, one-item posts the other day. I now see that's a faux pas. So, here's a consolidated list of parts I've got for sale. All prices are negotiable (for some of this stuff I really don't know what's fair), and none of them include shipping unless noted otherwise. I will charge whatever it costs to ship without a mark-up; don't PM me asking for the shipping to whatever zip code. I'm not UPS, so I don't know until I go there. The parts are all off my 1987 325is SpecE30 race car, which was a nice street car with 133K miles before I gutted it. Here's a short version of what's for sale:
Front Valance Mounting Bar = $30
Custom Exhaust = $150
OEM Muffler, Hardware, and Pipes = $75
Brake Ducts = $10
Mechanical Fan, Clutch, and Shroud (optional) = $45
PS System = $25
Aux. Fan Resistor = $12 (shipped)
325is emblem = $6 (shipped)
More detailed descriptions follow:
Front Valance Mounting Bar = $30
This includes the curved metal bar that sandwiches the cow catcher spoiler to the diving board bumper and all hardware. One of the end brackets is broken, but I easily fabricated a bracket on the opposite side out of bar stock aluminum sold at Home Depot (request a photo--I could only post 5).
Custom Exhaust = $150
This exhaust was SpecE30 legal until the rules changed. It has two Thrush glasspacks at the end of the twin pipes. This portion would bolt up to the stock cat. It uses one original hanger and then you drill one hole in the trunk floor for a sheet metal screw. I could also include the cat, which I gutted completely from above (with a hatch I welded back into place) so it looks factory from below. This hollow cat acts as a resonating chamber and makes the car sound pretty cool at idle. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M82nN3_yLUs for a movie of the exhaust. The glasspacks need a wire brush and some more high temperature black BBQ paint.
OEM Muffler, Hardware, and Pipes = $75
This isn't rusted out and it's in good shape. It's a bolt-on DIY as is, or I could Sawzall the muffler off for easier shipping if you can weld it back on. I've got a detailed photo of the muffler and the hanging hardware. Request if interested because I exceeded my picture quota.
Brake Ducts = $10
Plastic brake ducts that go from the large valance through the fender liner to cool the front brakes.
Mechanical Fan, Clutch, and Shroud (optional, if you want it) = $45
Good working condition. I only run the electric fan when I'm on the grid.
PS System = $25
Includes the pump, reservoir, hoses, and hardware (all but two bolts that still remain on the car). I took the belt off the pump about a year ago, so the pulley rusted a bit, but it was working when I disconnected it. Recently I removed it all to save weight. I have a close-up of the pump. Request if interested because I exceeded my 5 photo quota.
Aux. Fan Resistor = $12 (shipped)
I don't have a picture, but you know what it looks like. I jumpered my fan to high, so I don't need this.
325is emblem = $6 (shipped)
Nearly pristine, with a little scuff on the "i." All you need for installation is double-sided tape.
