Stroker Parts... m52 crank, s50 rods

These parts can be used to make either a 2.8L or 2.9L stroker m20. You can achieve a 2.8L stroker with stock sized pistons, and a 2.9L stoker with +1 overbore.

S50 connecting rod set. These connecting rods are 100g lighter than stock m20 rods. each. These came out of a lower mileage car being built for boost. The are all from the same crank. $225

    M52 2.8L Crank: 84mm stroke
74k miles. was it sent to the machine shop for inspection, cleaning and polishing. I was planning on using this in a stroker/turbo m20 engine build.
    $250

You can use a m52 crank in a m20? How have I never heard of anyone doing this. What is involved?

call metric mechanic or get a sleeve machined that fits over the front of the crank to adapt the timing belt gear instead of the timing chain gear. I think MM wants 200 or 250 for a little piece of metal, but you know it'll work.

Then you need pistons and rods that don't go above the deck and end with a reasonable compression ratio, I think eta rods and I pistons are the closest you can get with stock parts but I can't make any promises

You will need custom pistons to use with 140mm rods or to shave the counterweights down about 6mm and use stock 135mm rods else they will hit the wrist pins.

                      M50nv on m52 bottom end

                      Hello,
I have a complete european m50 non vanos engine and a good bottom end from a m52. Do you know if I can use the m50 nv head on the m52 block along with the s50 crank or even the s52 crank?

Are the rods still available? What length are they?(center-to-center) I assume they are 135mm, but the 140mm reference post confuses me.

Who knows? Maybe they're still sitting around.
