    Updated: [NJ] S52 engine, supercharger, Konis, 318iS parts, other misc

    I have decided to clean up somewhat so I'm putting up a first list of parts for sale. Stuff will be added as I dig it up, a fair amount has accumulated.
    All these items were bought from forums or ebay between 06/2006 and 12/2007 or came off my cars.

    - S52US w/transmission SOLD

    - VF-engineering supercharger kit for above engine SOLD.

    - 413 maroon label (no EWS) DME. Will work for S5x/M5x transplants and OBD I swaps. $250.

    - 318iS 5 speed manual transmission, was taken off the car at 176kmi. Neither I nor my mechanic actually heard this run, but the person who sold us the car told us the trans was working properly. Given the condition of the car I have no difficulty believing this. $350.

    - Any and all parts resulting from taking an M42 out of said 318. Block/crank/pistons are bad. Head is probably bad. Rest has 176kmi but was reported as functioning very well, so please ask.

    - Full set Koni sport (yellow) single adjustable shocks for all E30s save early (84-86) cars, still in boxes, M3 valving (stiffer), I'm told that getting these rears has become nontrivial, so here's your chance to get a set, $500.

    - Front swaybar mount reinforcements for M3s (mount on strut housing) from Turner, still in plastic wrap, $60

    - Rear swaybar mount reinforcements from Turner, (on arm) still in plastic wrap, $60

    - Full airbag kit - leather wheel, actual airbag, wiring loom, brain with capacitor, sensors. Leather is fine, will not make representations as to the rest. Open to offers. $100? $150? I honestly have no idea.

    - E36 M3 calipers F and R, complete with carriers and rebuild kits. Known good to go, $350.

    - E30 318iS brake booster & master cylinder, removed for the swap, functional $80.

    - E30 318iS DME, as above, make offer

    - E30 318iS radiator, as above, $100?

    - E30 A/C evaporator, as above, $150?

    - Four bottlecaps with positively antique tires, make offer

    - E30 318/325 non-ABS front struts that the NICE PO fit onto the car, $150? Make offer

    - E30 318iS springs and very new boge shocks, $200

    - Non-SRS check panel, english, $50

    - Beige 318iS style 'berber' carpet, good condition, cut PROPERLY around the heater core, could be helped a lot by steam cleaning, $100

    - Roof vinyl panel & mechanism for manual sunroof from above car (converted to electric), make offer

    I'll take offers in PM, with pictures to come as they are requested. I am willing to ship everything, though I'll give priority to local sales.

    How bad would shipping be to VT on the S52?

      I can find that out for you. It's not going to be awful, the ebay calculator is weird. I would guesstimate $200 or so.

        Shocks available again. Vaporblade, shipping to VT is going to run $250ish, to a depot.

                          why in the hell would you do a compression test with oil in the cylinders? those numbers are meaningless

                            For the same reason that you put oil in your oilpan. You don't need much, but you do need to coat the bores. And even then, it's not.. ideal. But it's a lot better than running dry. And yes, you could make the case that leakdown may be affected, because the oil isn't at operating temperature. But leakdown is generally not the problem in the M5x/S5x block.
