FS - S50 motor w/ ZF manual trans

For Sale: 1995 S50 motor with ZF transmission. Approx. 100K miles. When I got the motor I had the cylinder head machined & cleaned. Replaced all new gaskets and had alternator rebuilt. New chain tensioner, ARP head bolts, new water pump & themostat, etc... This was supposed to end up in my e30 but I sold the car, so now I have no need for the motor or trans. The engine does need an oil pan, but I will include the engine stand that the motor is currently on. Also the ECU for this engine is included. The whole package is for sale for $1200. PM me with offers. Must pick up in southern Rhode Island. My e-mail is bmwryan1@yahoo.com

    SOLD!!!!

    Thanks for looking,
    Ryan

No way. Are you serious, $1200 for a refreshed S50 WITH TRANSMISSION?!

Dude...I would totally buy this if I had the time and money for the swap. This is an insane deal!

I know this is an awesome price! I just have to have it gone. It is in my parents garage and they want their garage back so this forces the sale. I wanted to find another e30 to swap the motor into but I don't have the time so my loss is going to be someones HUGE gain. Sorry though, I really don't want to have the hassle of shipping it.

That is my dillema too! I would definetly find another e30 to swap this into but I just bought a house and I don't have the time or the resources to find another e30. The motor and trans are at my parents house and they want it gone:hitler:. I have no say in the matter so it needs to go, and I have no room to keep it at my house so it has to go fast.

Only that it doesn't have an oil pan on it at the moment. I need it gone cause my parents are demanding that it leaves their garage! I have no where to store it at my house, if I had known that it would have been this good of a deal I would have started the asking price higher! I priced it low because it really needs to be out of their garage by this weekend, so I figured that I would have no problem selling it at that price.
