I have:

S50 Block (torn down for rebuild)- Crank and Block-Sale Pending, pistons and rods still available...
2.5 Head (needs springs I have cams)
extra intake cam $100
S52 Intake manifold $50
M50 Intake Manifold
Harness/DME (will need ews delete), uber complete
E34 Oil Pan and Pickup
E36 Steering Rack
E36 M3 Trans (60k miles)

I think you'd be better off parting each item out.

Block $500
Head $500 (assumes EVERYTHING including a functional Vanos is there)
Cams $250
M50 Manifold $100
Harness and DME $300
E34 525i oilpan and pickup $200
E36 Rack $80 (if it is 3.5)
E36 M3 trans $400

Which takes the total to $2330
