        As long as its a getrag 260, it will fit. IIRC, a 325eS 5 speed has the same tranny as a 325iS. When my busat did his 5 speed swap, he used a tranny from an 85 eta which was obviously an M20B27. Everything went fine.

        Cross some part numbers on BMA and see if the part numbers are the same for a B27 and a B25.

          Correct. I have an M20B25 clutch and pressure plate in my eta. It works both ways.

              I definitely have had an e30 flywheel not mesh with an e30 PP before. Don't remember what years and whatnot they were but I'm pretty sure there was a split somewhere. There are also supposedly ETA's with dual mass flywheels I've never come across but those are definitely different, unsprung clutch hub I believe.
