    FS: Gorgeous Professionally painted valve cover...

    I had this painted at a local body shop using basecoat/clearcoat. It's a factory BMW color, but I can't remember what the name of the color is...anyways, I am asking $110 shipped to the lower 48 for it. The only scraped paint that I can see is where the nuts touch it. Other than that it is pretty sexy. First PM gets it...

      I hope they used high heat primer and clear for that

        A good base coat/clear coat can easily withstand 300 degrees fahrenheit. Not to worry. Plus, It was on my car for almost a year without even a hint of problems.

          Clear isn't necessary. And valve covers don't really get THAT hot, we're not exhaust manifolds.
