I picked up a '94 525i that hit a trailer pintle/ hitch in the road. It dented/ cracked the oil pan, trans pan, crossmember, and tore the battery box out. The gentleman shut the car off immediately, it didnt run out of oil while running.
The pan can probably be repaired. The trans (auto) is now living in an E36, and was fine except for the pan. The engine was a rebuilt unit from BAV Auto, and he is sending me the receipts so I will know the exact mileage/ history.
The car is in winston salem, NC, prefer local pickup for the big stuff
