Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but did you install the m3 spring on your 318? And it sat higher than your stocks? Do you have pics that you can post up? Sorry - I'm contemplating running m3 springs. Thanks.
I can't speak for Jean, but I can speak for me because I bought them from him :)
I've installed them on my 1991 24V-swapped 318i and I'm just loving them. They're perfect for the often uneven pavement in Michigan. Lower than stock 325i, but higher than many aftermarket lowering springs, including the ones I just took off of my car (just too low for Michigan).
I'll try to take pics asap so you can see how the car sits right now.

Ah hah! So you were the one? I was just in line behind you to buy these. Glad to see they worked out well for you and that you're enjoying them. :D
Can we get a shot of the swapped car on M3 springs?
NP Luke - I promise to take at least a decent side shot as soon as it will stop raining! We've been getting nailed all day, SE Michigan is under flood watch until Monday, and only the tail end of it has anything to do with Ike pushing moisture this way. I feel for those people who have to deal with the real thing on the gulf coast.

1st pic - my 24V swap car with Intrax lowering springs. Loved the look and ride, but still too aggressive for a DD in Michigan IMHO:
2nd pic - my 24V swap car with stock E30 M3 springs (please excuse the dirty car):
I'll live with the less baller appearance (still looks plenty good to me) since the ride is 100% better. Perfect for these roads, and a nice subtle drop from stock 'is' springs. The only time I think I'd want more spring was if I was going to track it - and then I'd just go straight to Ground Control coilovers.
For reference, the rims are 17” x 7” Racing Hart C4 reps, and the car as photographed here ran stock spring pads for both the Intrax springs and the E30 M3 springs (no change in pad height with spring swap).
By the way, the Intrax springs are now officially for sale. I just need to photograph them before putting them up.
