I just heard back from the ring supplier, he is checking inventory, he has a bunch of shiny ones but not sure of the aluminum ones. I will post on here once I know.

not to be a total pain in the arse, but what do you think about making a decal that looks like this? this one is original for e30's. oh, and i don't know how much you sell rings for, but depending on the price, i would like a set too.

That is a cool cluster. Here is the thing, we are not doing this as a business, just to cover costs, the shop is busy so spending time on these things is not the best use of time. Lets see how these sell through and we can look at other options down the road. We are working with Nespo on a exterior motorsport set as well.

The first seven have been shipped as promised.

People have asked best way to install. Im no expert but having done about a dozen of these here is what I would suggest.

Get a exacto knife and have it near by. Cut out the decal with cover to easily lay over the numbers. You will see how the spacing is laid out once you have it in person. If you are using rings, place off of the top edge to allow the strip to be visible. Tack decal in lightly. If alligned correctly then you can apply pressure to firm up. Knife comes in handy if they need to be adjusted. Remember after installed nothing bothers these so you dont have to go crazy to get them to stick.

i sent an email this evening. also, i was checking out your web site. i purchased the vdo gauge pod that mounts to the top of the console. is that an original or repro part? i have been watching them on german ebay. pretty hard part to find.
