I've got a brand new expansion valve for sale. I bought one last year (this one) and another one this year. When I ended up doing the install, I didnt have it with me so I bought it again hence I'm selling the other.
If you know anything about E30's or BMW in general, you'll know the expansion valve is a problematic portion of the BMW air conditioning system.
ALL E30's NEED THIS PART
Regardless of whether your A/C is working or not, with a fresh valve in place, you'll A/C will get fricken cold. When I replaced mine, after a fresh recharge, my A/C temps reach 41 degrees.
This is good for R12 and R134a. Still has original stickers over the valve ports for a seal. Labor calls for 3 hours in any shop to install this bad boy, but most all enthusiasts could do this themselves.
To install you just have to take the glovebox out and center console. I believe its a 22mm wrench. 2 new orings will be needed as well. FITS MOST E30's AS THIS PART IS UNIVERSAL, PLEASE CHECK PART NUMBER AND REFERENCE FOR YOUR CAR BEFORE BUYING.
