FS: Mark D ETA chip $110 shipped

I just purchased this chip last week, but upon opening my DME I discovered that for whatever reason the stock chip is soldered in. Sure, I could remedy that problem-but I will be doing an S52 swap in the next couple of months so there really isn't a need for it.

It's for the 027 DME, tuned for 91 octane and gives a 5500 RPM rev limit. Price will be $110 shipped. Payment via Paypal only.

Still available? Think this would work in my '86 325es, but I haven't pulled the ECU to see if my chip soldered either. I know it's 027 though...

Well the S52 swap might be on hold for a bit, and a friend brought me a spare 027 DME from a parts car that has a socketed chip holder, so....this evening I fixed a fuel delivery problem and installed the chip and got the car running again. Wow-what a difference this chip makes to an eta motor!

So for the time being the chip is not forsale as I will be using it for a while, but might be available again in the future.

Tell me about the fuel delivery issue. I've been feeling like there's some hesitance under strong acceleration -- little lags maybe. I've been wondering if I should get that "cleared up" before I do the chip...
