No speaker grills. They fit right behind the stock rear grills, no need for modification, and I assume they will fit right behind the front speaker kick panels too.

Are these stock rear grills? I'm not sure if mine are stock.

No, those look aftermarket for sure. Look to be 6" whizzer cone speakers (not coaxial)
Is that a center shoulder belt attached to the rear deck? Or is that for a carseat?
                    I want it. :)

You should get the gray premium rears I have for sale. Give the car some OEM German goodness.

Not sure what a whizzer cone is, but those speakers are 5.25" MB Quarts. I've been trying to figure out if they're stock or aftermarket, because they don't sound very good.

Do the premium speakers have internal crossovers?

It's a center belt holder for the lap belt, there's no shoulder belt. I know the early U.S. rear decks all have them, not sure about late ones. You can probably find one in a junkyard for a few cents. The hole for it in the rear deck is already there, just needs a screw and a washer to mount it.

whizzer cone is the cheap speakers that are full range and have a little paper cone around the center portion of the speaker to create the muddy highs.

Anyhow, MB Quarts are good I hear, you probably need to put in an amp to power them as they'll sound like crap without enough power pushing them.

The BMW premiums have a crossover to separate the lows for the 5.25" woofer from the separate tweeter that is attached to the side. I just got done taking pics and didn't take pics of the bottom to show you that but you may find an image if you search.

anyhow, I just did the math and I think i'll keep the pioneers since I need them for my fronts. With shipping and paypal fees I can't keep them at $25.

As for the seatbelt, I have the little triangle but had never seen anything in it. So the buckle goes in it?
